MEET OUR TEAM

Amanda grew up in Nebraska and graduated from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska in 2004 as  a veterinary technician. She joined the Dale Animal Hospital team in 2005 as a veterinary technician. She has two kids, a dog named Benelli (a Visla/Pointer mix), and 2 cats. Amanda's favorite parts of the job are being able to help animals, working in surgery, and her awesome coworkers. Her hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, archery, hunting, and reading.

Diane is from Sioux Falls and graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN as a veterinary technician.  She has a Golden Retriever named Sven.  In her free time she enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband Steve, hiking with her dogs, camping and watching hockey.  When she was little, she would spend the summers at her aunt and uncle's farm, where her love for animals then grew into her career as a veterinary technician. Diane's favorite part of being a veterinary technician is surgery and dentistry.

 Stacey is from Sioux Falls and graduated from Globe University as a veterinary technician. She joined Faithful Friends in November of 2023. She has a daughter and 2 sugar gliders. In Stacey's free time she is reading, watching movies, or trying her hand at something crafty. In the summer, she and her daughter are  going for bike rides or relaxing in the backyard in the pool. Stacey's favorite part of the job is lab work, educating clients, and working with this amazing staff.

Kara grew up in Stacy, MN and graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN as a veterinary technician in 2020. When she is not at work, she is home spending time with her cats: Annie, Bert, and Finn as well as her cavalier, Lottie, and her boyfriend Jared. Her hobbies include playing video games, drawing, crocheting, and watching basketball. The things that Kara most enjoys about being a vet tech are helping with dental cleanings and exotic animals.

 Tera is from the Pacific Northwest. She graduated with her associates degree in Veterinary Technology, from Pierce College in 2007. She relocated to the Sioux Falls area originally in 2023. After a short relocation back to the Pacific Northwest in 2024, Tera rejoined us at Faithful Friends Veterinary Care in December of 2025. Tera is a lover of all animals, big and small. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Ashley is a Certified Veterinary Technician who grew up in Southwest Minnesota. At home, she has a husband named Zac, a daughter named Haven, and their 3 cats Poopy, Bean, and Tuna. She received her first veterinary clinic job in 2017 as a receptionist, and later decided to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. In 2020, she graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN as a vet tech. Ashley first joined Faithful Friends from July 2022-July 2024, before rejoining the team in July 2026. Ashley's favorite part of her job is building relationships with pets and their people, meeting new kittens, anesthesia, and phlebotomy.

Lindsey grew up in Lake Elsinore, California. She started as a kennel attendant when she was 15 years old and grew up working in a veterinary clinic. She went to Mt. San Jacinto college in Menifee, CA.  She moved to South Dakota in 2003 and now lives in Tea with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 ball pythons. Her favorite part of her job is working with geriatric patients, drawing blood, and pregnancy screenings. She also loves her co-workers who are always there for support and continued education. Her hobbies include concerts, Halloween, motorcycles, Disney, and watching her kids in marching band/drumline. 

Shila is from Sioux Falls, SD. She recently began in the  pre-veterinary program at Arizona State in the fall of 2024. Shila has 2 dogs: a German Shepard named Molly, and a yellow lab named Lilly. She also has a bunny named LuLu. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. One of Shila’s hobbies is dirt track racing. She drives a hobby stock and one of her favorite things is having her coworkers come out to watch and cheer her on. Since starting here she has really enjoyed assisting Dr.Kim with exotic patients, especially all of the rabbits.   

Mya is from Centerville, SD. She graduated high school in 2024, and moved to Sioux Falls in 2025. She is currently completing online coursework to become a certified veterinary assistant. Mya is eager to grow her knowledge in the veterinary field. She has three mixed breed dogs: Chance, Rocky, and Roo, who keep her busy outside of work. In her free time, she enjoys camping, watching movies, and exploring new places with her dogs.

Bill is from Sioux Falls and graduated in 2026 from Southeast Technical College as a veterinary technician, he recently joined our team in May of 2026.  In his free time he spends his time with his girlfriend Melanie and all of their pets, Toby a Pomeranian, Valentina a cat, and Pablo the conure, Bill's hobbies include spending time with loved ones and friends as well as playing dungeons & dragons. His favorite part of the job is assisting with exotic animal care and lab work.

Missy is from Luverne, Minnesota, and has always had a special place in her heart for animals. She graduated from the University of South Dakota before continuing her education at Globe, where she earned her veterinary technician training.

As a veterinary technician, Missy especially enjoys being part of the human-animal bond and helping both pets and their families. She loves running lab work and being able to step in wherever she is needed to help provide the best care possible.

Outside of work, Missy is a proud pet mom to four animals: Hercules, a St. Bernard/Husky mix; two cats, Pippi and Paxton; and Nessie, a red-footed tortoise. When she’s not caring for animals at work, she enjoys taking walks with Hercules, baking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
