MEET OUR TEAM

Missy is from Luverne, Minnesota.  She went to school at USD and graduated as a certified veterinary technician from Globe University in Sioux Falls.  She has 4 pets: 1 dog named Hercules, a St. Bernard/Husky mix; two cats named Pippi and Paxton, and a tortoise named Nessie. Her favorite part of her job is watching the bond between owners and their pets, and seeing how happy they make each other. She also enjoys seeing her wonderful coworkers and doing lab work. Her hobbies include watching the food network, baking, walks with her dog and taking naps. 

Amanda grew up in Nebraska and graduated from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska in 2004 as  a veterinary technician. She joined the Dale Animal Hospital team in 2005 as a veterinary technician. She has two kids, a dog named Benelli (a Visla/Pointer mix), and 2 cats. Amanda's favorite parts of the job are being able to help animals, working in surgery, and her awesome coworkers. Her hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, archery, hunting, and reading.

Diane is from Sioux Falls and graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN as a veterinary technician.  She has a Golden Retriever named Sven.  In her free time she enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband Steve, hiking with her dogs, camping and watching hockey.  When she was little, she would spend the summers at her aunt and uncle's farm, where her love for animals then grew into her career as a veterinary technician. Diane's favorite part of being a veterinary technician is surgery and dentistry.

Kimberly grew up on a farm outside of Dell Rapids, SD. From a young age she has always had a love for all kinds of animals. Kimberly started as a receptionist at a local vet clinic in 2014. From there she gained more experience in the field and found her passion. She decided to enroll in the veterinary technician program at Rochester Community Technical College. Kimberly’s favorite part of being a veterinary technician is dentistry, pharmaceuticals, and lab work. Kimberly has two cats, Mystique and Rogue. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys video games, camping, and Marvel comics. 

 Stacey is from Sioux Falls and graduated from Globe University as a veterinary technician. She joined Faithful Friends in November of 2023. She has a daughter and 2 sugar gliders. In Stacey's free time she is reading, watching movies, or trying her hand at something crafty. In the summer, she and her daughter are  going for bike rides or relaxing in the backyard in the pool. Stacey's favorite part of the job is lab work, educating clients, and working with this amazing staff.

Kara grew up in Stacy, MN and graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN as a veterinary technician in 2020. When she is not at work, she is home spending time with her cats: Annie, Bert, and Finn as well as her cavalier, Lottie, and her boyfriend Jared. Her hobbies include playing video games, drawing, crocheting, and watching basketball. The things that Kara most enjoys about being a vet tech are helping with dental cleanings and exotic animals.

 Tera is from the Pacific Northwest. She graduated with her associates degree in Veterinary Technology, from Pierce College in 2007. She relocated to the Sioux Falls area originally in 2023. After a short relocation back to the Pacific Northwest in 2024, Tera rejoined us at Faithful Friends Veterinary Care in December of 2025. Tera is a lover of all animals, big and small. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Lindsey grew up in Lake Elsinore, California. She started as a kennel attendant when she was 15 years old and grew up working in a veterinary clinic. She went to Mt. San Jacinto college in Menifee, CA.  She moved to South Dakota in 2003 and now lives in Tea with her husband, 2 daughters, German Shepherd, and 2 ball pythons. Her favorite part of her job is working with geriatric patients, drawing blood, and pregnancy screenings. She also loves her co-workers who are always there for support and continued education. Her hobbies include concerts, Halloween, motorcycles, Disney, and watching her kids in marching band/drumline. 

Shila is from Sioux Falls, SD. She recently began in the  pre-veterinary program at Arizona State in the fall of 2024. Shila has 2 dogs: a German Shepard named Molly, and a yellow lab named Lilly. She also has a bunny named LuLu. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. One of Shila’s hobbies is dirt track racing. She drives a hobby stock and one of her favorite things is having her coworkers come out to watch and cheer her on. Since starting here she has really enjoyed assisting Dr.Kim with exotic patients, especially all of the rabbits.
